Ok, here we are – at the grand finale. This is the last post from the LA auto show, than we are back to normal LA car spotting. In this post, we take a tour of the LA auto show underground, where the modified cars live. Widebody Tesla, BMW’s, Porsche 911 with a Martini Livery and some low riders! Enjoy
Up for viewing today is the day 2 of 3 post of the Los Angeles Auto Show. Some manufacturers in this batch include pictures from Jaguar, Genesis, Chevy, VW, Ford, Rivian, Nucleus (WTF?), Kia, Toyota, Jeep, and Mazda.
Stay tuned for part 3 of the LA auto show where we will post up the modified vehicles.
We made a visit to the LA Auto Show this year and it was a blast. A lot of electric vehicle and autonomous tech dominated the show. Today is part 1 of 3, where you’ll find vehicles from Porsche, Cadillac, Hyundai, Mercedes, and BMW. Enjoy
Happy end of October! Another month has concluded and with it, the LACS hodgepodge makes it’s appearance. Yet again, this one is light because of the wedding.
This month, we only posted 2 car spottings. One was a 1972 Chevy Monte Carlo cloaked in black and sporting excellent chrome wheels; a perfect match. We also saw a 1970 Cadillac DeVille – man are those big cars.
Enjoy this and look forward to even more next month!
Spotted this gorgeous BMW Z8 roadster coupe in Malibu the other day. The gentleman had just bought it and was driving it back to Los Angeles. It was in beautiful shape and very low miles. Did you know that less than 6,000 were produced worldwide and only about 2,500 made it to the USA? Awesome to see one in person being driven.
Work Work Work… That is all I have been doing lately. Working non-stop does not leave enough time for spotting cars! Well here is the Hodgepodge that was suppose to go up May 31st. Better late than never I say.
Spotted this lovely 1994 BMW 840Ci with the wonderful pop-up headlamps. The 840Ci was the entry level 8 series in this time period, but it still rocked a V8 and was well equipped in it’s time. I was only able to get shots from the side and rear because it was parked so close to that pickup truck! Enjoy/
And check out some previous BMW posts:
Well that’s a wrap to the 2017 car spotting year. It’s been a fun year and we have spotted tons of cool cars and trucks.
This is the hodgepodge of all hodgepodges. Thanks for following along and I’ll see you in 2018 for another fantastic year!
Spotted this amazingly blue Maserati Gran Sport Coupe in Beverly Hills. I do enjoy the odd bubbly styling of this generation of the Gran Sport. The pictures did not turn out the best since I used my phone and it was in a dark garage | enjoy none-the-less!
How could I have missed the end of month hodgepodge not once but twice! I hope everyone had a splendid labor day weekend. Well alas, here is the hodgepodge pictures of vehicles that didn’t quite get featured.
Check out this example of Soviet automotive excellence. In Russia, car drives you!
Some info about the Lada VAZ via wiki:
The VAZ-2103 is a deluxe compact sedan car (small class, passenger car, model 3 in Soviet classification), produced by AvtoVAZ and introduced in 1972. Better known as the Lada outside of its native Russia, it was a localized version of the Fiat 124 Special built under license and tailored for the Soviet and Eastern European market. The 2103 differs from the VAZ-2101 exterior, with four headlights, moldings on the sides of the body and large rear lights. Its main difference – the more powerful 75 hp (56 kW; 76 PS) 1,452 cc (88.6 cu in) straight four. In addition, this model is distinguished by the presence of vacuum brake booster and self-adjusting rear brakes, “sport” instrument panel with rev counter and a dashboard clock.
