1974 Ford F-100 Ranger XLT

Spotted another cool truck the other day.  This one is a mid-70’s Ford Ranger in the XLT trim.  I am really digging the two-tone paint and the general aesthetics of this particular truck. With the resurrection of the beloved Ford Ranger, now finally in dealer showrooms, it is refreshing to see the wise older sibling still roaming the streets. Enjoy

1966 Ford F-100 Long Bed Custom Cab

Spotted a 1966 Ford F100 on a walk the other day.  Painted in a partial two tone pale yellow/white combo, this F100 Custom Cab deserves a second glance.  It does not look ready to hit a showroom floor. What it does look like it’s ready to do, is drive around town and haul a lot of stuff in it’s long bed.  Enjoy and of course…

Spotted this ragtag Ford F-Series Pickup truck around Echo Park in Los Angeles. Love these old Ford trucks – inspiring to see people driving these around some 50 + years later.

1959 Ford F-100 Custom Cab

Ford F-100 Pickup spotted parked off the road in Los Angeles, CA. The Ford F Series pickups have been around for decades and this 1959 example is one of the early body styles.

Here’s some info via Wikipedia:

Introduced in 1957, the third generation F-series was a significant modernisation and redesign. Front fenders became integrated into the body, and the new Styleside bed continued the smooth lines to the rear of the pickup.
The cab-over F-Series was discontinued, having been replaced by the tilt-cab C-Series.
In 1959, Ford began in-house production of four-wheel-drive pickups.
