Spotted a Dodge Colt Vista while on a walk last month. This “mini” minivan may not be the most exciting vehicle to grace our earth, but I can honestly say that I’ve never seen one in person. It stands out to me as being very practical and compact – LACS approved.
Don’t forget to check out some other Dodge/Plymouth spottings:
1972 Plymouth Duster
1989 Dodge Raider
1967 Plymouth Valiant Signet
1984 Dodge Ram D150 Prospector – Short Bed
Spotted a bright red Chevy C10 pickup truck in Burbank not long ago. This was from a few days ago, when Californian’s were allowed to go outside for leisure (expect other large cities or states to follow this order)! I have a few more spotting pictures in the bank that I’ll post over the next few days to keep us all sane.
Don’t forget to search for your favorite vehicles at the bottom of the web site. Here is a sample of a few C10’s and Silverado’s we have spotted.
1982 Chevrolet Silverado C10 Pickup
1962 Chevrolet C10 Pickup Truck
1972 Chevrolet C10 pickup (CK Chassis)
1965 Chevrolet C-10 Pickup
Spotted this lovely 2019 Aston Martin Vantage parked near the office last week. Word on the street is that Aston Martin is having some supply line troubles and is greatly reducing the number of vehicles it is producing at the moment. Glad I could find this one out in the world. Couldn’t get a shot of the front because of it’s positioning but the back looks pretty damn sexy! Enjoy.
So, you may have noticed that I have been absent from posting for the past few months. I wish there was some extenuating circumstance that would absolve me from my absence – yet there is not. I have simply been too LAZY to take pictures and post anything new to this site. I think my inaction has left an empty space in my creative consciousness – and I am left wanting to create. So fear not loyal LACS followers, the posts will continue and the pictures will continue to flood in.
We will start with this gorgeous 2019 Acura NSX that was spotted at the parking lot of the Malibu Wine Safari. Enjoy!
Today we have on display, a Alfa Romeo GTV6 that was spotted in LA. This beautiful Alfa looks to be in exceptional condition, sporting some aftermarket rims and a brilliant red paint. The GTV6 sounds great and has great handling for it’s period. And you cannot mistake it’s uniquely Alfa Romeo styling. This car checks a lot of boxes for enthusiasts looking for a somewhat rare, desirable and fun-to-drive car. Enjoy.
Check out some other Alfa’s we’ve spotted:
1x Volvo P1800 & 2x Alfa Romeo’s
1986 Alfa Romeo Spider Graduate
Spotted – Alfa Romeo 4C
Happy Memorial Day Weekend!!! Dust off the grille and polish up your cooking skills because the sun is out and so are the good times. Today we have a special treat and a guest photographer to help celebrate Memorial Day with us. Ritchie Hann, a good friend of LACS, has a selection of photos from a recent Cars & Coffee trip.
So go out there and have a great Holiday weekend with friends and family – go to a car show if you have the chance. In the meantime, enjoy a few beautiful classic and modern cars courtesy of Ritchie and LACS. Cheers! ♦ ♦♦♦ ♦
Prepare to be le amazed. In front of le eyes, we have a wonderfully beat up 1978 Renault LeCar. If you remember when this came out, and you sprinted to the dealership to grab one, I am very le sorry for you. BUUUUTTT, if it wasn’t for le original owner of this car, than we would never have been able to le spot it on le street. Okay I’m done.
And check out the one other le French car we’ve spotted:
Rare 1972 Citroen SM
Hello all. Spotted this lovely BMW M5 that looks like a street car, prepped for racing. Fitted with a roll cage and some sticky tires, this thing looks ready to attack any track. This was parked near a BMW specific auto garage and tuning garage around Silverlake. They always have awesome cars parked near their place and it’s a great place to go car spotting! Enjoy.
And check out some other cool BMW’s we’ve spotted before:
1997 BMW M3 Coupe
2003 BMW Z8
1987 BMW 635 CSi (E24)
Spotted this Chevy C10 pickup street parked in a quiet neighborhood. The first generation C10 had a mid cycle update during 1963/1964. It is easy to distinguish between the earlier and the later 1st generation C10’s by the windshield. This first generation C10 has a windshield that wraps around and slants towards the rear. The later half of this generation has a windshield that does not wrap around as much, and finishes with a slant towards the front. Take a look at this 1965 Chevrolet C-10 Pickup we spotted a few months ago to look at the subtle difference. Enjoy
Here is a lovely looking Datsun 510 Sedan rocking a dilapidated paint scene, or as some call it, the patina look. Parked in the shade around Silverlake, this Datsun 510 is a refreshing sight to see in a world of modern cars. Enjoy!
Hello. Spotted a Early 1990’s Toyota HiAce the other day. Not just any HiAce though; this is the Super Custom Limited model, which was spec’d very nicely when released. This one is also a Turbo Diesel which makes it even more cool, and it’s Right Hand Drive on American shores. Truly a gem on the LA streets.
One must remember that the HiAce was originally introduced to the market as a delivery truck/van. And like all things automotive, the consumer wanted more luxury and more velvet. The thirst for “super awesome limited luxury custom EFI Turbo S Type R” model vehicles could not be quenched. But this HiAce gets close. Enjoy
