Spotted this Chevy Astro Gemini Conversion van on a walk. When I was younger, I thought that conversion vans were kind of shitty but I now see the appeal. What better way to transport your whole family in comfort and in a reasonable sized package. Also, the paint scheme on these conversion vans are simply amazing. Google C”hevy Astro conversion van” and you will find a ba-gillion different color and pinstripe design combos.
My family used to own a regular non-conversion style Chevy Astro that was a stick shift of all things – I think it was maroon in color. How cool is that. Enjoy
Don’t forget to check out some other sweet vans:

We are on a roll with the cool Jeeps this week. Last weeks Postal Service DJ chassis Jeep hearkened back to a time when AMC was proudly developed Jeep models. This 1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer was sadly the last generation of the Grand Wagoneer, after Chrysler bought Jeep and discontinued this model.
Here we have a retired postal jeep, either a DJ-5 or DJ-6 model from my research. These DJ chassis Jeeps were produced for United States post office use for over 30 years and were in service far longer than that. This individual converted their DJ chassis into a civilian, RHD (right hand drive) road-going Jeep cloaked in a desert sand paint job.
